The 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment is an American WW2 realism unit dedicated itself and its members. Here you will not find screaming drill sergeants, insufferable officers, or big brain tacticians, but instead of group of folks interested in having fun, teaching, and learning.
We are organized, and portray, a company of an American WW2 paratrooper regiment. We are dedicated to non-complicated organization, sticking solely to the infantry platoon of the company and choosing to perform joint operations with other expertly trained units for roles such as tankers. As a group of specialized light infantry we will take on a large variety of missions with only one thing in mind... fun.
Founded by the former commanding officer, and other members, of the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, we have come together to create a new group. This group isn't dedicated to recreating war or a paramilitary wing. Instead we are dedicated to creating, and teaching others, a sense of esprit de corps, teamwork, and leadership. We organize ourselves around having fun operations that will also enhance ourselves as people, not as tacticians.
So if you're looking for something new, come check us out! Even if you don't want to fully commit and join, we have a non-membership role known as 'Replacements'. As a Replacement you are not a member, though you do receive a rank (Private) and tag on our Teampseak, forums, and Discord. However these do not give you any special access or favor, they merely denote you as an interested party in our missions and allow us to keep you informed. A Replacement is not assigned to a roster, nor are they eligible for any positions, awards, or promotions, but they do not have any attendance requirement, do not have to attend any training, and do not have to come to anything if they don't want... they're not a member.
However if you are interested in becoming a full member you can become a Paratrooper. As a Paratrooper you are granted the rank of Private after completing Basic Training, and once completing Jump Training you are awarded your official Jump Wings. You are assigned to a Squad, can attain further ranks and specialized positions (such a Medic, Designated Marksman, Bazookaman, Mortarman, etc.), and are eligible for all awards.
Basic Training: Basic Training is currently held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays at 2000 Central US Time, and the 1st and 3rd Fridays at 1800 Central US Time.
Jump Training: Jump Training is currently held on 2nd and 4th Wednesdays at 2000 Central US time, and the 2nd and 4th Fridays as 1800 Central US Time.
Missions: Our Unit-wide missions are held on the 4th Sunday of every month (moved for holidays) at 1800 Central US Time and are open to both Replacement and Paratrooper level membership (except if the mission is a parajump... in which case only Paratrooper members are allowed). Throughout the month members are encouraged to construct and host their own missions for as many people as they want to join in! Squads will also hold a squad-level training twice per month, typically open to all members.
The only 'requirement' is to join the monthly missions, but you are highly encouraged to join other training and missions, and ample notification of any absence is totally fine. Our age limit is as low as 15, but we will quickly remove any disruptive and immature presence regardless of age.
